Blood type is destiny and affects even the choice of credit cards, statisticians at HyundaiCard claim to have found.
By surveying the company¡¯s 1,190 workers and ¡°brand delegation¡± members, the company found that what it calls the ¡°highly loyal and stability-oriented¡± A type tended to use only a single card to accumulate as many mileage points as possible. Some 31.2 percent of them preferred cards that provide substantial mileage points. The proportion of A-type people who prefer debit cards that limit use to the amount in their bank accounts was 6.9 percent, twice more than the number of those with other blood groups.
The B-type, according to the survey, is interested in credit cards that provide extra services like leisure activities. Some 29.7 percent of the ¡°optimistic and outgoing¡± B-type people wanted credit cards that had deals with leisure, culture and entertainment businesses.
Among O-type people, who apparently like living on the never-never, 29.3 percent prioritized discounts and free installment payments and took loan services available with their credit cards into account.
AB types, the company claims, are ¡°strategists¡± who compare annual fees and choose the cheapest card. They were 4.7 percent more concerned about annul fees than other blood types, and showed 6.1 percent more interest in cards allowing them to use extra services of their own choice, and 4.3 percent more than others in large discounts on certain days.
