Bigger LCD Monitors for Everyone
The age of 20-inch or above LCD monitors is upon us now the product price has come down to way below W1 million (US$1,000), with Samsung Electronics launching its Model Sync Master CX201TS on Monday. The company says the product¡¯s maximum resolution is 1,600¡¿1,200, optimizing design programs and video images. Two smaller manufacturers, BCT Co., and Doosol System, have also introduced 20 inch monitors which support 1,600¡¿1,200 resolution. They cost a little below W500,000.

Once only in demand among graphic designers and hospitals, 23-24 inch monitors are also rapidly becoming more widely available. Dell International has introduced a 24 inch monitor priced around W1.3 million, and LG Electronics has decided to sell a limited number of 23 inch monitors through GS eShop for W990,000.
