In another step toward a future of "ubiquitous" connectivity, Samsung Electronics said it demonstrated that MP3 files for mobile phones can be enjoyed on a car audio when it hooked up a Samsung prototype phone to the speakers of an Audi using the Bluetooth wireless interface. It performed the feat at Audi's corporate headquarters in Germany last week.
Samsung said Thursday it plans to incorporate Bluetooth technology into its D600 phone which should hit markets in the second half of the year, and on its "Super Music Phone" with 30GB of storage.
