Asiana Airlines¡¯ cabin staff has been named the world¡¯s best in 2005 by aviation market researcher Skytrax of London. Asiana said Thursday that it won top marks in the cabin staff category in Skytrax¡¯s 10-month long survey of 3.46 million passengers from over 92 countries.
The survey was conducted for 10 months to evaluate flight attendants¡¯ service quality attributes like ¡°welcoming passengers,¡± ¡°language skills,¡± ¡°friendliness of staff and courtesy of service,¡± ¡°staff grooming & presentation¡± and ¡°problem solving ability.¡±
Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Malaysia Airlines and Qantas Airways were other strong contenders in the cabin-staff sector. Overall, Asiana Airlines took ninth place in the entire process of service from reservation to arrival, following Hong Kong¡¯s Cathay Pacific and Australia¡¯s Qantas Airways.
