Korean actress Kim Yoon-jin will interview pop signer Mariah Carey when she hosts the popular ABC talk show ˇ°The Viewˇ± to be aired on Thursday.
The show, a 2003 Emmy Award winner, is broadcast across the U.S. every morning. It has five regular emcees in different age brackets, but celebrities are often invited as emcee of the day, with Kim taking the microphone on April 28.
Kim will interview Mariah Carey, who recently released her new album ˇ°The Emancipation of Mimi.ˇ± Kim says she wants to use the opportunity to make herself known to American viewers.
After signing an exclusive contract with a U.S. agency, Kim made her debut in the country by playing the role of Sun in the popular ABC miniseries "Lost.ˇ±
She was recently interviewed by fashion magazine Vogue and says she is being flooded with offers for work. Her next project is the female lead opposite Billy Bob Thornton in the movie ˇ°Georgia Heatˇ± to start shooting in August.
