U.S. Waves Security Council Stick at N.Korea
Assistant Vice Foreign Minister Song Min-soon on Thursday played down rumors that the U.S. will take a harder line with North Korea if it fails to return to six-party nuclear disarmament talks by June.

Appearing on a CBS program, Song said the rumors ˇ°could be thought of as a sort of psychological line people have.ˇ± ˇ°One could change the cup the moment it no longer holds water, but now isn't that time,ˇ± he said.

Song warned taking the dispute to the U.N. Security Council, as Washington has said it might, ˇ°isn't a panaceaˇ± and could make things more difficult.

Meanwhile, the U.S. State Department announced Thursday that Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill will visit Korea, China and Japan from April 23 to 30 to discuss what can be done to revive the six-party talks.
