South Korean Olympic gold medalist Moon Dae-sung was recognized in Greece last week by the country's Pan-Hellenic Sports Journalists Association.
Professional sports journalists vote and award the best in Greek sports each year and Moon is said to be the first foreign athlete to be included on the list.
During the Summer Games in Athens, Moon unleashed a powerful roundhouse kick that knocked out local favorite Alexandros Nikolaidis during the men's over 80-kilogram taekwondo final.
