Le Monde Introduces Korean 'Long Love' Condoms
The prestigious French daily Le Monde ran on its front page Tuesday a dispatch from Seoul reporting that a Korean condom firm had developed and marketed a specially designed condom for prolonging erections known as "Long Love." In the piece entitled, "Korea Invents Condom Viagra," the paper reported that the Long Love condom, developed by the condom firm Unidus, contained an anesthetic gel that delayed male ejaculation and prolonged sex by three or four times.

Le Monde said that because of the Long Love condom, the price of Unidus stock had skyrocketed, and quoted company president Kim Duck-sung as saying the Long Love condom was for the time being the leading product in the sector.

The piece added that Unidus, one of the world's Top 5 condom manufacturers, was working hard to marry "enjoyment" and "protection," and while the company had put about 50 kinds of condoms of varying shapes, colors and scents on the market, Long Love was the most creative.

Le Monde said that while about 100 million condoms were sold in Korea annually, the reality was that only 10 percent of males used them, so it was hoped Long Love would help develop the domestic condom market. It also reported that Unidus had begun exporting condoms to China, a nation with a need for more than 1 billion condoms annually, according to the World Healthy Organization.
