Busan Dongnae police and Seoul Seocho police have arrested two accomplices identified by their last names as Jang (33) and Ham (20) on Sunday for allegedly committing burglary by posting up messages on an Internet web board. The police are also searching for two other people involved in the case.
According to the police, on Aug. 18, Jang posted up messages recruiting accomplices to join him in a burglary in many portal websites, with his email address and cellular phone number. Ham and two others called him after reading the message, and three of them have allegedly committed burglary in Busan. Police found that they broke into 55-year-old Ms. Kang's house Thursday and stole credit cards and withdrew W2,600,000 from the account. They are being investigated for stealing a total of W10,100,000 worth of cash and goods from 10 different houses.
