The Kangnam Police Station booked actress Kim Hye-ri and cancelled her driver’s license Thursday on charges of rejecting a Breathalyzer test after causing a traffic accident.
Under the current law, if a driver rejects a Breathalyzer test, the driver’s license is cancelled and the person is sentenced to two years in prison or up to W5 million in fines.
After drinking at a restaurant in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, Kim drove her Benz and crossed the central lane of Bongeunsa-ro and bumped into a BMW, which was waiting for a green light in the opposite lane.
