Teenage Boy Puts His Virginity on Sale on Internet Auction
A teenage high school boy offered his virginity for sale on an Internet auction website. According to Auction, an Internet auction company, the seller introduced himself as an 18-year-old high school boy living in Daejeon. He put his virginity on sale at 3:00 a.m. on Monday. It was sold at W300,000 three hours after being bid. The boy said that anyone around the nation could buy it and he would show his naked photo to bidders. The bidding began at W100,000 and finished at W300,000. There was only one bidder.

After belatedly discovering the bidding on Wednesday, Auction said, ˇ°We failed to notice the bidding because it was posted early in the morning, when it is difficult for us to regulate, and it ended in three hours, we plan to ask the police to investigate the case. But we cannot reveal the personal information of the members.ˇ±
According to the on-line company Auction (www.auction.co.kr), an 18-year-old boy's self-introduction is creating a controversy. On Monday, an 18-year-old boy wrote an article with three photographs, including a topless one, saying that he is still a virgin and noted, "I will sell my virginity. Anybody from anywhere in Korea is able to buy it and if you send me an e-mail address during bidding, I will send my pictures or(?) my figure."

Another 18-year-old boy controversially offered his virginity for sale on the Internet auction website last Saturday. The boy posted three half-naked photos, and said that any person could buy his virginity and he would send his photos to bidders if bidders gave out their email addresses to him when they made a bid. Auction discovered the bidding on Sunday afternoon and interrupted the bidding and deleted it from the website.

On Auction, a 33-year-old woman also put her virginity on sale in May where the bidding was also stopped.
