Legislator Sohn Bong-suk of the Millennium Democratic Party said Monday in a National Assembly interpellation of the unification, foreign affairs and national security sectors that, ¡°Although the official spelling of the President is ¡®ROH MOO-HYUN,¡¯ it is written as ¡®NO MOO-HYUN¡¯ on the website of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), which was updated in May. It was misspelled in last year¡¯s world fact book, which the CIA publishes every year, and still is not corrected.¡±
According to Sohn, the CIA stated President Roh as ¡°NO MOO-HYUN¡± and wrote the exact spelling ¡°ROH MOO-HYUN¡± in parenthesis, but continuously writes as ¡°President No¡± in the contents.
