Hong Jung-sik, the head of an anti-corruption civic group called Hwalbindan, visited the civil affairs office of Seoul City Hall on Friday afternoon, delivering 1.2kg of mud fishes in a plastic jar for Mayor Lee Myung-bak.
In a play on Korean words, Hong explained that, "The capital caused the chaos in the transport system but it is denying its fault and passing responsibilities to citizens, just like what mud fishes do."
Also Hong noted that, "They are high-quality mud fishes from Namwon in North Jeolla Province. Have a good meal with them and work hard to make the city better. Don't blame citizens for the transportation chaos."
