There are full of beautiful, corruptive and healthy nude photos in the exhibition hall. "The Exhibition of Helmut Newton's Fashion Nude Photos" will be held until August 22 at the Chosun Ilbo Gallery in Seoul. The viewers could appreciate sex, power and the body from the works of a leader of 20th century's fashion photography, Helmut Newton.

"Big Nude" series is placed in front of the gallery entrance. Newton introduced the big series in 1980s. He got the inspiration from a photograph of a wanted terrorist and he took the photograph allowing the model to wear high heel shoes only.

The audience are able to meet famous people such as actress Catherine Deneuve and Elizabeth Taylor, painter Julian Schnabel, a dance composer Pina Bausch in the "Portrait Series."

Straight, direct and frank sights are contained in pictures which used the background of high society such as first class hotel with models of well-proportioned figure.
It does not matter whether the viewers feel embarrassed. The models simply show off their bodies with total confidence. They show off their body even with crutches and in front of electric home appliances.

On the other side, there are pictures which let the audience to feel the works like they are the eyewitnesses of an accident.
70 series of work such as "Nude," "Fashion," "Portrait," and "Death" fulfilled the needs of the public at that time. Nudes appear in every piece of work, but they are different from other modern photographers who tried to use pornography to stimulate and shock people.
Explanations are given during exhibition period at 3:00 p.m.
