Big Pool Entertainment, the same company that produced Hwang Hye-yeong's and Gwak Jin-yeong's nude projects, said it would start mobile service of nude photos of Sonya starting Thursday.

Sonya, who is called "Black Fever," has christened her nude project, "Defiance and Passion." In her nude photos can be found the passion of a woman who is overcoming both a difficult family environment and how society looked down upon her for being multiracial.

Big Pool said, "We pushed this project after judging that Sonya possessed an attraction that harmonized both Eastern and Western beauty... In particular, her body is so great that the term 'Black Pearl' wouldn't be too much."

Meanwhile, Sonya said, "The fact is that most multiracial people can already feel the stereotypes and curiosity all around them, so I worried a lot that this nude project might work against multiracial people. But as I will not be able to lose this 'multiracial singer' tag that I've always been stuck with, I acceded to this nude project thinking I would try to sublimate those problems with my charm and attraction."

Sonya, who has produced four albums since her debut in 1999, starred in the musical productions of "Fame" and "Jekyll & Hyde" and has received spotlight for her explosive singing ability.
