Fake viagra made in North Korea, what has been proven by the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to have an affect in treating impotency, is illegally being circulated.
Songpa Police station in Seoul issued a warrant for 52-year-old Mr. Bu, who is charged with illegally circulating 1,300 tablets of "fake Viagra."
Mr. Buh bought 4,000 tablets of viagra for W5 million from a Chinese man who insisted that the medicine was imported from North Korea. Mr. Buh then sold these illegal tabs of Viagra around the Songpa and Gangdong neighborhoods using his own truck. He sold them to adult shops or sold them personally out of his own vehicle parked on side of the road for W5,000 per tablet.
The police said, ¡°There are many cases in which fake viagra made in China were disclosed but this is the first time that viagra from North Korea has been discovered." He added, "The tablets are white and round, which are different from existed Viagra that are blue and diamond-shaped."
