Saudi Security Forces Kill Top Terrorism Suspect

Saudi authorities say security forces have killed one of the kingdom's most wanted terrorist suspects in a gun battle in Riyadh.

The Interior Ministry says the dead man is Abdullah Mohammed Rashid al-Roshoud, who was on a list of the 26 most wanted al-Qaida terrorism suspects recently made public by the Saudi government.

The ministry says one policeman was also killed in the clash in Riyadh's al-Quds neighborhood Wednesday.

Earlier this month, security forces killed the head of al-Qaida in Saudi Arabia after his cell beheaded an American hostage. On Wednesday, the group said that Crown Prince Abdullah's one-month amnesty for militants to surrender will fail.
