Korean tennis player Lee Hyung-taik advanced to the 2nd round of the French Open, the second major competition this year.
Lee, who reached the tournament through the backdoor, scored a come-from-behind victory over Robin Soderling of Sweden. Lee won three games out of five and will enter the second round.
It is the first time Lee won at the French Open, and will compete with Olivier Patience of France. Patience is currently ranked 99th and distinguished himself at the Australia Open last Jan. where he beat Nikolay Davydenko. Patience will be a tough opponent especially because he's strong on clay courts and the match will be held on his home ground.
Lee, too is full of confidence after his come-from-behind victory, his first win since his victories at the ATP tour event San Jose Siebel Open last February.
