Survey Says Elderly People Over 60 Still Have Sex
According to a survey, six out of 10 elderly people over 60 still have sex.

The recent survey of 154 men and 95 women over the age of 60 conducted by ¡®Counsel 24¡¯ found that 61.6 percent (154 people) still have sex.

The survey also showed that 62.8 percent choose their spouses as their sex partner, 9.6 percent their boy or girl friends, 3.2 percent acquaintances and 3.2 percent prostitutes.

In response to the question, ¡°How do you feel about sex?¡± 36 percent say they are still turned on by young, handsome, pretty people and another 32 percent say they have no feelings about it. 12.8 percent say they have desire for sex, but they have to suppress the desire since they are old.

When asked about the difficulties of having sex, 18.4 percent cited physical problems related to aging such as impotency and premature ejaculation, 14 percent are concerned about their family¡¯s opinions, and another 14 percent cited declining sexual feeling.

Jo Sook-ja, welfare director of the organization, said that quite a number of elderly people still have the desire and ability to have sex, and we should correct our mistaken awareness concerning elderly sex.
