A 50th anniversary party for the American adult magazine Playboy was held at the Gimme Five Event Center in Samseong-dong on Friday.
With the stir from Lee Seung-yeon's "comfort women nudes" still resonating across the entire nation, Korean Playboy model Lee Sabi revealed herself. She let it be known that she personally hopes that the controversy surrounding Lee Seung-yeon would stop, but for herself, there would be no shrinking away from her photos or video. She's worked to hard to do that, she said.
Playmates Audra Lynn and Divini Rae attended the party, as did Playboy Entertainment Group President James English, Playboy TV Managing Director Mark Rudolph, Spice TV President Jeong Jin-gu, Spice TV Vice-President Roh Young-sun, and others. The Playmates said, "This our first visit to Korea, but everyone has been very kind to us and it has left a deep impression."

Over 100 reporters flocked to this party, reflecting the kind of attention being focused on Lee Sabi and friends. Wearing a pink dress revealing her shoulders, Lee responded to a reporter's question on her future plans by saying that she dreams of not only being a Playboy model, but also becoming an actress. Playboy Bunnies, with their distinctive rabbit ears and fishnet stockings, were to be found here and there around the party venue.

Audra Lynn introduced herself by saying, "I was born and raised on a farm in Minnesota with lots of horses, and I was also a figure skater." She said she currently lives in Los Angeles. Divini Rae, who majored in psychology and journalism at the University of Oregon, said "I was born in a small village in Alaska, and six years ago I moved to Australia." She said she started modeling in Sidney, a profession she continues to engage in to this day.
What has changed for these ladies since they became Playboy models? Lynn said, "I've gotten to travel to many places, and many I've gotten many opportunities to model for magazines and appear in sitcoms. In a word, it's been a 'fantastic' experience." Rae said, "Traveling to many places around the world has become a great memory." The two women called Lee a "good friend, who's a beautiful person inside and out."
Asked of what kind of man they like, Lee said she prefers "tough, unpolished men of the George Clooney-type." Lynn prefers older men who can make her laugh, whereas Rae likes brainy, thoughtful guys. Revealing how she stays in shape, Lee said she has dieted quite a bit, but she's constantly exercising. Rei exercises, too, but she also drinks a lot of water and likes to eat raw fish. Lynn, on the other hand, was a bit more frank, saying she doesn't exercise much and likes to eat junk food.
About 1,500 people were in attendance, including entertainers and normal folk, and the party featured a number of events, including a cocktail show, performance of the Korean hit show "Nanta" and magic show. In particular, things started heating up after 10:00, when the dance party began, a party that would last until 4:00 in the morning. The Playmates will attend a private party at the Intercontinental Hotel in Samseong-dong on Saturday, and head home on Sunday.
