NHK, the Japanese state-run TV station, will broadcast a 90-minute long documentary on Korean actress Choi Ji-woo at the end of this March, Choi's management company said Friday.
According to the company, NHK devised the documentary in an attempt to draw more public attention to ¡°Winter Love Song,¡± a Korean drama starring Choi, which is scheduled to air on the Japanese TV station from April 3 under the Japanese title, ¡°Winter Sonata.¡±
¡°NHK is preparing for the documentary with a plan to broadcast it on March 27 under the title, ¡°You are invited to Winter Sonata,¡± and for the program, Choi will go to Japan on March 22 and do some interviews for two days,¡± said an official.
According to him, the program will be directed by Yamato Yoshiaki, a NHK program director who won an American Emmy Award.
