Samsung Mobile Phones Rated Best in Europe
Samsung Electronics' top-end camera-phone, SGH-E700, has been called one of the best cellular phones in Europe, with some in the local media picking the phone as the best Christmas gift item for this season

In August, Samsung released the model SGH-E700, a folding "intenna" phone, a camera-phone with a built-in flash and a bar-type color phone.

The product is unique in that the camera is attached in front of the handset and the LCD on the outside functions as a display, allowing the user to take photos without opening the handset.

Samsung, the largest Korean firm, said that Connect, a German magazine specializing in mobile phones, called the Samsung model ¡°the best Christmas gift item¡± in the magazine¡¯s most recent December issue.

The magazine praised the Samsung phone as simple and classic, durable and with practical functions and excellent quality.

Samsung also said that Mobil, a Swedish mobile phone magazine, picked the same Samsung product as the best camera phone at the market. The magazine said that SGH E700 had a sophisticated and elegant design, a variety of easy functions, and was of excellent quality.

Another magazine published in Denmark chose the Samsung model as the best overall mobile phone for this year.

Commenting on the European media's acclamation for the phone, an official at Samsung Electronics said that in northern Europe, the home turf of the world¡¯s largest mobile phone producer, Nokia, the markets have begun to recognize the quality of Samsung phones.
