Choi Shines In European Debut
Choi Kyung-ju couldn't have made a bigger splash on his debut performance in Europe.

On Sunday, Choi came out victorious in Germany's Linde Masters, with two eagles, three birdies and two bogies, scoring a 5-under-par 67 in the fourth round. His final score was a 26-under-par 262.

The 33-year-old Korean, known abroad as K.J. Choi, held a slim lead over Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez until the final round in Koln's Golf Club Gut Larchenhof.

After dropping out of the lead at the fourth hole with a bogey, Choi drained an eagle in the fifth when his second shot made it right into the hole.

Choi faltered with another bogey in the 12th, but managed to get back in the lead with yet another eagle on the following hole.

On the 14th, Choi's drive and second shot landed in the bunker. But he capped his victory on the 18th with a birdie, leaving the Spaniard in second place with 24-under-par 264.

With the win, Choi brings home total prize money of 500,000 euros ($600,000).

Sunday's victory was Choi's third major title, following two wins on the PGA tour last year. (Arirang TV)
