About 10 airmen from the U.S. Air Force's 607th squadron will visit a special tea house in the historic North Gyeongsang province city of Andong on Saturday to learn about the traditional Korean tea ceremony, the South Korean Air Force's 11th combat wing said Friday. The manager of the Andong Tea House, Choi Ok-ja, will give a demonstration of the ceremony and lecture on local tea culture to a group of 40 Korean and U.S. airmen.
The 11th combat wing, to strengthen Korea-U.S. friendship ties, has been organizing various activities with U.S. forces, including environmental projects, movie nights, soccer matches and concerts.
