Temple Stay Program To Be Continued For Asian Games

During the 16-day sporting event, Busan authorities plan to revive the temple stay program for foreign and local visitors alike carrying on the World Cup tradition. A total of 14 Buddhist temples in the host city of Busan will be taking part including Tong-do and Beom-eo, offering overnight and special weekend packages.

Each temple will have its own program to let visitors get a glimpse of Korean Buddhism's distinctive features and teachings by introducing Buddhist cuisine and the lifestyles of a monk. Other additional features include Buddhist meditation, lotus lantern-making classes and hiking among others.
