Cha Du-ri, who signed for Bayer Leverkusen will play for one year at second division Duesberg, to which he has been loaned, as part of the Bundesliga team's strategy to nurture his talents. The German league starts play on August 11.

Duesberg finished 11th last season and is the second Korean to play for the team; Park Sang-in played there for two seasons from 1980 to 1082.
