World Cup Campsite Proves Popular
The Han River's camping site adjacent to the Sangam World Cup Stadium has become a popular summer vacation site with a flood of families and university students packing it to its 680 people capacity last weekend. The Camping Culture Research Association said reservations for after July 20 were 50% booked, while for weekends there are no vacancies available.

The campsite is a 15-minute walk off from the stadium and is equipped with shower rooms, lockers, a bicycle rental service, cooking facilities, a snack corner and toilets. Admission is W1,000 per day if a person has their own equipment, but tents can be rented for W6,000, cookers for W3,000 and mats W2,000. The site closes during typhoons or storms.

Water skiing facilities opened last month, and an outdoor swimming pool is located next to the camp.
