Celebrating the historical achievement of Team Korea, which advanced to the semifinal round in 2002 World Cup, soccer feast will be held on July 2 at Gwanghwamun. The Red Devils supporters will show off their cheering routines, and popular singers' performances are also scheduled.
Prior to the concert, Team Korea will parade from COEX, Samseong-dong, to Gwanghwamun, and head coach Guus Hiddink and the 23 players will receive citations. The event will be sponsored by three network TV stations, KBS, MBC and SBS, and co-hosted by Korean World Cup Organizing Committee and Korean Football Association.
KOWOC announced that traffic will be partially restricted from entering the Gwanghwamun area in the afternoon, and requested the participants to use public transportation, and passing traffic to detour the area.
