Konkuk University announced Friday that Team Korea head coach Guus Hiddink would receive an honorary doctorate in business management for his contribution in elevating the national prestige and promoting nationwide unity. Hiddink expressed his intention to accept the honor via email.
The ceremony is scheduled at the schoolĄ¯s Millennium Plaza at 10:30am on July 7, and Konkuk alumni and Team Korea players Hwang Sung-hong, Yoo Sang-chul, Lee Young-pyo and Hyun Young-min will attend to celebrate the team coach receiving the honor.
