National soccer team head coach Guus Hiddink is to be made an honorary Seoul citizen with the local government announcing it will award him a citizenship card for his contribution in getting the national team into the semifinals. Citizenship has been awarded to 446 foreigners, including foreign guests and those who contributed to the development of Seoul. So far such celebrities as UNICEF envoy Rodger Moor, movie star Jackie Chan, and Singapore President S. R. Nathan have received citizenship.
