National team members Hong Myeong-bo, Lee Woon-jae, Yoo Sang-cheol Ahn Jeong-hwan and Park Ji-sung have been included in the 53 all-star nominees for the Korea-Japan World Cup games selected by FIFA¡¯s technical study group.
England had the most nominees with seven including David Beckham and Michael Owen. Spain had six including Raul and Morientes, and Korea, Brazil and Senegal each had five. The all-star nominees are selected through TSG evaluation and fans' votes.
FIFA will select the final best 11 players according to position among teams that entered the second round. The results will be announced at the Yokohama International Media Center (IMC) with Brazilian soccer legend Pele presenting the awards.
