World Cup Security Double Checked

The latest set of guidelines disclosed by World Cup organizers in the country urges Seoul residents to stay off the roads surrounding or directly leading to the Seoul Sangam Stadium on the eve of the international soccer tournament as well as on the opening day. Also according to the new regulations, stadium parking lots will be off limits to spectators during matches. Relevant officials are advising fans to make use of public transportation.

All air routes within a radius of 10 kilometers from World Cup stadiums will be designated as no-flying zones during the global sporting affair. As for security, specially trained teams to deal with hooligans as well as to eliminate explosives and handle other emergency situations will be on duty at all times around the arenas to ensure the safety of both the public as well as players.
