4,150 Foreign Businesspersons Invited for World Cup
According to the Federation of Korean Industries, the nation's top business groups are expected to invite a total of 4,150 foreign business CEOs and entrepreneurs during the World Cup games, taking their visit to Korea as an opportunity to promote alliance and cooperation.

Hyundai Motor said that it extended invitations to about 1,200 overseas dealers and customers to visit the country to take in some of the soccer games, adding that, afterward, they will be given a tour of the firm's largest plant in Ulsan.

Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Heavy Industries are going to invite 500 foreign businesspersons each. Hyosung plans to invite 350, followed by Korean Air with 300, Hyundai Oil Refinery 250, and Kumho 200.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy have also plan to invite 47 CEOs of global mega-sized businesses to Korea during the soccer event.
