Guenter Grass Arrives in Seoul
Famed German writer of "The Tin Drum" and 1999 Nobel Prize for Literature-winner Guenter Grass arrived at Incheon International Airport, Monday, on his first visit to Korea. Grass' visit is at the invitation of the Korea-Germany Culture Research Center of Joongang University and the Goethe Institute in Seoul.

He will visit Panmunjeom, site of the division of North and South, on the May 28 and on the 29th and 30th will give a lecture titled "Reflection's on Germany's Unification" at the International Symposium on Unification and Culture, hosted by the Korea-Germany Culture Research Center.

Also, on May 30, he will participate in the World Cup eve festivities and recite a congratulatory poem titled "Stadium of the Night." On May 31, he will lecture at the Goethe Institute.
