The Korea World Cup Organizing Committee said Friday, it was setting up a ticket handling center to clear up the confusion over the mishandling of the allocation of World Cup tickets by Byrom, the ticketing agent. According it said it would work to ensure tickets bought by groups would allow them to sit together by utilizing a ticket exchange service.
A KOWOC official said the committee requested FIFA Friday to print a total of some 10,200 tickets, including 200-300 tickets per seat-level and match in order to secure tickets for exchange. KOWOC said it would grant the admission regardless of the name printed on tickets in front of the stadium, but check if the person is identifiable for security reasons.
