For an even more successful World Cup, the government will run a consumer protection center for international visitors during the summer sporting gala. A Seoul metropolitan official said Monday, the center will run from May 25 to July 15 and will work in conjunction with consumer advocacy groups, major retailers, and the government's tourism promotion agency, the Korea National Tourism Organization.
In addition to this, the official said ten on-site complaint registration booths will go into operation in popular shopping districts including Itaewon, Dongdaemun, and Namdaemun markets. The center and the booths serve to provide foreigners with immediate answers to pricing inquiries.
