Cho Yong-pil to Tour Four Cities
Singer Cho Yong-pil on a concert tour titled "The 2002 Cho Yong-pil in Flight" is dedicating it to the hope Korea will get into the second round of the World Cup Finals. The composer of "Dreamy Arirang" for the eve of the 2002 World Cup, to be heard on May 30, Jo received the cheers of some 8,000 in his Daegu concert on May 11.

Beginning the concert on May 4 and the 5th in Dongdaemun Stadium, Seoul Cho is in the middle of his effects packed tour and concerts to come are Busan's BEXCO on May 18 and Chosun University in Gwangju on May 24.

Cho said the World Cup Arirang was a song of dream and hope that everyone can easily be sung along to. He said when asked to perform in World Cup eve concert by KOWOC, he refused at first thinking today's pop idols would be more effective for the atmosphere, but finally decided to join the concert in the hope the national soccer team gets to the second round. He confessed he was a crazy fan for soccer players Lee Hoi-taek, Lee Cha-man, and Cha Beom-geun.
