The Korea World Cup Organizing Committee (KOWOC) announced Sunday it would sell 265,717 World Cup tickets on the Internet (http://ticket.2002worldcupkorea.org), Housing and Commercial Bank and post offices nationwide from April 17 at 9:30am on a first-come first-served basis, including tickets unsold overseas and conversion of media seats into general seats. These include 4,715 tickets for the France-Senegal opening match on May 31 and 1,188 tickets for the Korea-Portugal game in Incheon on June 14.
