Prosecutors to Level Harsh Charges on AMCHAM Protesters
Seoul District Court's Public Security Division Director Hwang Gyo-ahn announced Tuesday that it will indict all the student activists who ransacked the offices of AMCHAM on Monday to protest against President George W. Bush's visit. Hwang said police will arrest the 32 students and charge them with assault as well as violating laws regarding building occupation by force.

He also confirmed six students were already wanted for violating the National Security Law.

Hwang said the protest was a typical sit-in strike using violence and created a diplomatic incident, and that prosecutors have recently indicted without detention the majority of anti-US protesters against Bush's visit to Seoul.
