 Seoul metropolitan government announced Friday that its annual 'Seoul Drum Festival,' usually held every October, would be held for an extended period during the World Cup Finals co-hosted by Korea and Japan. Accordingly the festival will take place from May 28 to June 6, over ten days as opposed to the usual three, and with 40 groups taking part, up from last year's 10.
Some 15 Korean teams will take part in the event alongside others from some 15 countries including France, China and Turkey.
