Incheon International Airport Opens as Northeast Asian Hub

Incheon International Airport opened on March 29 aiming to be a regional hub for Northeast Asia. The national project cost W7.9 trillion and took eight years and four months to complete on reclaimed land between Yeongjong and Yongyu islands, Incheon. The airport's terminal can handle more than 27 million passengers a year and it has four cargo terminals and two runways (3,750mx60m).
