Jung Chan-sung to Vie for UFC Featherweight Title

Mixed martial arts fighter Jung Chan-sung will face off against Alexander Volkanovski for the Ultimate Fighting Championship's featherweight champion title.

Volkanovski was supposed to face top-ranked Max Holloway of the U.S. at the UFC Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 6, but the latter suffered an injury, leading to a match with fourth-ranked Jung instead.

The match has also been postponed by a month. It will be Jung's second attempt at the championship.

He became the first Korean to vie for it in August 2013, but suffered a TKO loss against José Aldo of Brazil.

Jung beat American fighter Dan Ige in June of last year and has been eyeing the featherweight title since then.
