The Seoul Mobility Show, Korea's largest motor show, kicks off at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province northwest of Seoul on Thursday.

Over 100 companies from six countries will participate in the 10-day show, formerly known as the Seoul Motor Show, with some 20 new models making their Korean premieres.

The participants include global heavyweights Hyundai, Kia, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Maserati.

Hyundai will display 31 cars including the Ioniq 5 robotaxi, a version of its Ioniq 5 electric vehicle modified to allow for automated driving. It will also showcase a robotic dog and a humanoid robot named Spot and Atlas respectively, created by Boston Dynamics, which the automaker acquired in June.

Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi all plan to exhibit recently released EVs.

Various events will be on offer for visitors. Outdoor jazz concerts will be held on Nov. 26-28 and Dec. 3-5, which visitors can watch while enjoying barbeques.

There will be opportunities to test-drive new cars and new EVs of three brands -- Genesis, Kia and Audi -- and events for primary school children to experience novel technologies will be put on by Hyundai Mobis.

The show runs until Dec. 5.
