Koreans who have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus will be able to visit Singapore without quarantine from Nov. 15 as the city state opens tentatively for tourism and business.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said last week that it has reached a "travel bubble" agreement with Singapore that allows people from both countries to visit the other more freely.
So far Korea has only been in a travel bubble with the far-flung U.S. territory of Saipan, and only for tour groups, but Singapore will also admit fully vaccinated individual travelers.
Koreans must present proof of vaccination, a negative test conducted 48 hours before departure and medical insurance. On arrival they will be tested again, and again at least 72 hours before returning. They will be tested yet again on arrival in Korea to avoid quarantine here.
