Vaccinated people from Korea will now be able to travel to Italy without having to quarantine.

On Tuesday, Korea and 21 other countries were newly added to Italy's so-called Green Pass countries that are deemed to be relatively safe.

That means they will be exempt from Italy's mandatory five-day quarantine and only need proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken at most 72 hours prior to departure.

But this only applies to fully vaccinated Koreans who have been given vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency -- AstraZeneca,  Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.
