The nationwide university entrance exam on Nov. 18 will be open even to unvaccinated candidates, the Education Ministry said Thursday.

Candidates will have to wear masks, but there will be no plexiglass dividers between desks this year since most candidates are presumed to have been vaccinated against coronavirus in good time.

The ministry said those who have tested positive or placed in isolation can nonetheless take the exam in designated hospitals.

Vaccinations of high school seniors and other candidates will be completed by September.
