Golfer Choi Na-yeon, known for her tomboy look and demeanor, on Wednesday unveiled a collection of body profile photos.
Earlier, she shared photos and videos of herself working out to prepare for the photo shoot.
"I had gained weight after staying at home during the pandemic. After the date of the photo shoot was fixed, I totally focused on training and dieting for five weeks. I increased my muscle mass and still managed to lose 7 kg," said Choi, who described the project as one of her "bucket list" items.
"There were many moments when I wanted to give up, and sticking to the strict eating plan was tough. But I worked hard to achieve my goal. The experience has been a reminder of the importance of challenging myself. I feel healthier inside and out, and I'm confident I will be able to overcome any challenges," she said.
Choi is a nine-time LPGA Tour title winner. She on Wednesday left for the U.S. to prepare for the Gainbridge LPGA at the Boca Rio Golf Club in Boca Raton, Florida, which will be held from Feb. 25-28.
