Jeju Island is the focus of the latest in the Korea Tourism Organization's well-received series of travel videos for would-be international travelers who have not been able to visit Korea due to the coronavirus pandemic.
One of the popular videos recently uploaded on KTO's YouTube channel shows a Korean-Kazakh couple and their two daughters who rent a car to look around the southern resort island of Jeju, garnering many clicks from people in Russian-speaking countries in particular.
In the video, which captures the wonderful scenery of the island, the first destination is Hamdeok Beach, which boasts the emerald waters and black basalt formations for which Jeju is famous.
Viewers can appreciate the natural beauty of the island from the perspective of a car driving down the coastal roads. The video also contains some hands-on activities that are perfect for family gatherings, like picking tangerines, the island's specialty fruit, on a farm, and walking forest trails.
A great number of viewers who were mesmerized by the beautiful scenery of Jeju Island left messages and expressed their eagerness to travel to the island when the pandemic ends.
The video can also be viewed on the KTO's official YouTube page.
