Song Kang-ho and Kim Min-hee were included in the New York Times' "25 Greatest Actors of the 21st Century" list on Wednesday.
Song ranked sixth and Kim 16th on the list compiled by the daily's film critics, Monohla Dargis and A.O. Scott.
The daily said Song "probably first came to the attention of most American audiences in the 2020 best-picture Oscar winner 'Parasite,' playing an impoverished, conniving patriarch."
It interviewed the film's director, Bong Joon-ho, about his rapport with Song.
"I'm still eager to see what [Song] will bring to a role. To me, he's like an inexhaustible diamond mine," he said. "He has the ability to bring life and rawness to every moment."
Of Kim, the NYT wrote, "[Her] exquisitely nuanced performance is at the center of the movie [Right Now, Wrong Then]."
Also on the list are the U.S.' Denzel Washington, France's Isabelle Huppert and the U.K.'s Daniel Day-Lewis.
