Choi Ji-man of the Tampa Bay Rays hit his first home run of the season in a home game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday.

It was his first home run batting right-handed in Major League Baseball. Choi normally bats left-handed.

In his third at-bat in the bottom of the sixth inning with his team losing 4-0, he crushed a fastball from the Jays' left-hander Anthony Kay over the fence in left centerfield at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The Rays came from behind to win 6-5 after an extra inning.
